Located on the outskirts of Oxford and dating back 178 years ago, the school is based on the principles of truth, beauty and excellence; today those principles continue to secure the foundations of our school.

A co educational flexi and full boarding school. The school offers a broad and balanced curriculum; in addition to the core subjects of English (language and literature), mathematics and the sciences, subjects taught include humanities, media studies, modern languages (French, German and Spanish), social sciences and technology. There is also provision for Religious Education, PSE, and PE and games throughout the school.

The school has a large number of cubicle washrooms in the male toilets. Throughout the year the toilets have an extremely high footfall of students and staff.

Following a recent refurbishment of the male washrooms, Monarch Hygiene were asked to find a solution that would ensure urinals were kept hygienically clean and smelling fresh . The school also asked us to find an air freshener solution for the washrooms.

Urinal mats and Urinal Sleeves were installed in the urinals to help reduce blockages whilst providing a fresh fragrant smell in the male washrooms. From the first day of installation both the bursar and headteacher commented on how nice and fresh their washrooms are.  

In both the male and female washrooms AirBurst and AirPro air fresheners were installed providing a continuous fragrance within the washroom and reception areas.

The AirBurst is a highly effective aerosol air freshening unit that dispenses regular doses of aerosolised fragrance with a choice of fresh and welcoming fragrances.

The AirPro is a programmable odour control system that provides 60 days of continuous fragrance containing 35 ml of pure fragrance oil with a wide variety of fragrances available.

Since Monarch Hygiene installed the new services the  school has noticed a significant reduction in odours and a pleasant new smell. With regular servicing we will ensure the washrooms stay pleasant and inviting.

This is a vast improvement compared to how our washrooms were before. I am very happy with the services provided to the school. The cherry and Almond fragrance in reception smells incredible and this can be smelt further along the corridor whilst the sandalwood fragrance in the washrooms smell wonderful.

Both plain and Logo mats were installed to create a professional environment which allowed each showroom to prominently display their branding whilst protecting their floors, preventing slips and trips and keeping floors cleaner for longer.

The entrance at each showroom provides a fantastic first impression, floors look so much cleaner whilst the risk of slips and trips have reduced. The range of floor mats situated throughout the showrooms provide a good solution which staff have said has made a significant difference to the workplace.

OUR CHALLENGE

The store used a large company to look after its washroom and hygiene needs to include sanitary and nappy disposal bins. The contract was poorly managed resulting in services not being carried out on time and customer complaints . 

 We contacted Monarch Hygiene to provide a quotation which after several meetings they were successful. 

Sanitary & Nappy Disposal bins were instantly installed along with water management systems that improves hygiene and reduces water wastage with a built in auto cleansing flush (every 12 or 24 hours) for maximum hygiene during unoccupied periods. AirBurst air fresheners were installed in the washrooms providing a continuous fragrance within the washroom areas.

The AirBurst is a highly effective aerosol air freshening unit that dispenses regular doses of aerosolised fragrance with a choice of fresh and welcoming fragrances.

Lastly entrance mats were installed at each entrance in to the store including staff entrances which remove up to 90% of the dirt trodden in on peoples shoes which enables floors to remain cleaner for longer.

Following our installation the store has benefitted from a tailored service schedule, detailed service visits, clean, fresh sanitary and nappy bins. There has been a huge reduction in their water bill thanks to our intelligent water management system and pleasant fresh washrooms thanks to our AirBurst air freshening system providing a welcoming fragrance in each washroom. Floors also remain cleaner for longer thanks to our super absorbent floor mats. 

I cannot believe how proactive and thorough Monarch Hygiene are. I have been a facilities manager for almost 20 years and i have never come across such a seamless service this company offer. This is testament that a smaller independent company offer a far superior service and you are treated as a customer not just a number.

Every washroom within the store has a different fragrance in and the dispensers are set in accordance with our opening hours. The sanitary and nappy bins look really smart and after observing the technician on a couple of occasions they are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised on every visit. I have noticed our urinals don't flush half as often as what they use to which in turn saves water and ultimately a huge reduction on our water bill. Our cleaning contractor has also said how much cleaner each entrance in to the store looks following the installation of our floor mats.

We are a large nursery based in Oxford opening in 1998. 

Our nursery provide provisions for children between 3 months and 4 years. We have recently opened a second nursery in Witney.

The two nurseries have specific waste disposal requirements requiring a seamless service. 

Monarch Hygiene was asked to find a sustainable solution for the nurseries needs. We were also asked to supply an eco friendly sanitary disposal service.

We supplied various sized wheelie bins across the nurseries ranging in size from 240Ltr to 1100Ltr, made from up to 100% recycled material. With various service frequencies from weekly to monthly meeting our clients needs ensuring they comply with their duty of care obligations. We also supplied the group with our range of sanitary disposal units made from 100% recycled plastic. 

Since installing both wheelie bins and sanitary disposal units the waste collected from each location will be taken away for incineration by diverting waste away from landfill and turned into renewable energy.
